Cheyenne and Oscar's growing family

I will try to keep it as up to date as possible. Please remember i am pregnant and do tend to get pretty tired very often. We do take weekly pictures but will make monthly updates!! Thanks for coming by!

{20 Weeks. 4-4-08} Not too much is giong on this week. We have been taking a baby poll to see who could guess the sex of the baby right. Most people thought it was a boy!! We might be getting a sonogram done to tell us the sex on 4-9. We are keeping our fingers crossed beacuse we are so anxious. I have set up an appointment with this place in town who does 3-d/4d ultrasounds so that if we dont get this scan we can take the whole family to find out with us. This place is pretty cool. There are 10 people allowed in the room with us and a huge 37” screen tv for everyone to see what is on the monitor. It is going to set us back 316 bucks for two appointments. I decided to get teh second appointment so that the family will be able to see more than just the pictures i get. Cant wait till the apt! {4-10-08} We didnt get the ultrasound done but not to worry next week we are going to go to that 3-d ultrasound place! The doctor said everything is looking good and he found the heartbeat really quick. We also got a heartrate monitor for home so that i could make sure the baby is doing okay. We have a strong feeling its a boy. So i guess we will just have to wait and see. The doctor says a lot of mothers know what the sex of their baby is before the scan is actually performed. I am starting to have doubts though because i dont want it to be a girl and have been calling it a boy the whole time, how said would that be. That’s what happened when my mom was preggo, they told her i was a boy! Crazy stuff! Oh yea and our lil peanut has been kicking like crazy this week, mostly in the morning after i have my cereal!

{18 Weeks.3-28-08.} Oscar and I were having some fun with my growing belly. We decided to try to paint a fish aqauriam, and as you can clearly tell we are no artist. We actually felt the baby from outside, way cool! My belly “popped” this weekend. Other people can actually tell im pregnant now! We recently went out and bought a baby bedtime story book, every night since Oscar has been reading the baby bedtime stories!! We  might be finding out the sex of the baby on April 9th! {Week 16.3-10-08} I felt the baby flutter. It was the most amazing feeling!! We also went out and got some sun, or shoud i say sunburns!! {Week 16.3-10-08}

I felt the baby flutter. It was the most amazing feeling!! We also went out and got some sun, or shoud i say sunburns!! The doctor says everythign is looking just fine!  Im finally 4months!!!

13 Weeks. Its not much but im starting to get my little baby bump! Yay! Can you see my stretch mark? Lets hope it doesnt get too big! We went for a checkup and the doc said everything is still looking fine. It did take the doc a while to find the heartbeat which scared the daylights out of me! After he found it all i could do was laugh, i guess i was extatic. Doc said mommy and baby are doing fine!

So we found out today that we will be getting this wonderful crib from my wonderful Uncle Bodie and his family! I cant wait to get it home and set it up!

We got scared when we saw the embryonic sac, we actually thought it was twins!! Scary, but thanksfully there is only one! The doctor told us that there was a chance that i was pregnant with twins until that “threatened abortion” two weeks ago. Like most pregnant women i have been getting a mild sort of morning sickness. It usually strike when i am brushing my teeth or have eatin more than 6 bites of food. I learned that i can only have really small portions for the time being or i will make the meal a waste of money.  I have been pretty tired but am donig a lot better than a couple weeks ago.

It made it even more special to know the peanut had made it! The baby’s heartrate is a strong 137.
